Really is the last Christmas card for this year

Hi guys, well here we are so near to Christmas, hopefully your all ready for the Big Day!!!
Were back today with out paper take Weekly challenge  which is
Choose any challenge from the last 12 months,
I chose anything goes with optional torn paper

I have a few mens cards to do for my family and i always get stuck what to make so this year I came up with this for one of them,
I used some water colour paper and a Clarity stamps stencil called Birch tree, love it too, I used three colours of distress ink blending from light to dark the darker being near the base as the light doesn't get there so much because of the forest, I then added a black line on one side for shade and depth and on the other a hint of glitter for a frosty morning,
I tore copy paper by free hand and added snow tex on the top too look like snow,
the reindeer were cut from a few dies out of kraft card stock and I added a hint of snow Tex on their hooves to look like their walking in the snow,
I used a spellbinders banner for the sentiment and used the same distress ink colours on that too,

Distress ink colours used;
Broken China
Faded Jeans
Chipped Sapphire

Challenges
Clarity challenges - Trees ( if the stencil is not allowed, just bin my post lol)
Deep ocean - Christmas is all around

well I'm wishing you all a Very merry Christmas
And a Wonderful New Year,

I've also used a La la land bird box die, Little Darlings lovely view die, Magnolia Doo hickey poinsettia die and the slender firs dies too,
The winter die is by Noor love this die and the softboard bricks another fave of mine are by Dutch Doobadoo all available from Tracy's Noor web shop UK.
the flowers and Lace are from Sweet Lilac,
I finished off the card with machine stitching and a hint of glamour dust glitter here and there,

right our last challenge of this year for Sweet lilac is anything goes, I've made an easel style calendar card for next year,

Again I've used some of the Maja Design papers, just love the designs and feel of these papers, edged them with vintage photo distress ink, the  main design is cut using a Go Kreate die,,
I've used a Dutch Doobadoo wooden window and behind it added some cheesecloth as a curtain effect, the bricks are also DD and are available from Tracy's Noor design shop UK, these are as they come with just a little distress ink added on the edges,

The gorgeous flowers and leaves are of course from Sweet Lilac and I love them!!!
The bird is a Dusty Attic chippie,
Bird box die is by la la land crafts and above it is a lovely view die by Spellbinders little darlings,

Hi guys,  first of all I'd like to say thank you to all my blogging friends and new followers, I'm always so happy to see you, I'm back today with our challenge over at Paper Take Weekly and as you may have guessed it it's too make your own  paper flowers and punched die cut borders,
you can use ribbon too if you want,

I made my flowers using a free flower die on a Tattered lace magazine and also a spellbinders die,
the lace effect border was made using a Noor border die, 6002/0260 available at Tracy's noor shop uk
the base paper is by Magnolia and I distressed the edges with a distress tool and inked them,

The rolled up flowers on the end are made using the tattered lace die and all have been made using 7 dots studio papers - Cold Country collection,
the next two along are made form the spellbinders flower set using different petals dies to get the different sizes, the ivy leaf die is a Marianne die I think,
I added a little stenciling too with a Dutch Doobadoo Geometric tiles stencil and some DD texture paste 870.000.000 The snowflake is another of the xmas Decorations from a local store,

A Christmas stocking

Hi guys, I'm here today with my creation for Paper Take weekly  as the lovely Dawny asked me if I would love to join her team and of course I said yes, Thank you for asking me hun xx
The challenge is
Anything goes with an optional extra to make a gift or decoration for Christmas
and we are being sponsored by the fabulous Lily of the Valley

I've made a Christmas stocking, I've seen some gorgeous stockings in blog land and just had to have a go lol, I have made this for my mum lol,
I got the template off the internet and used Maja Design papers for it,
after cutting out the shapes and adding my paper I added lace around the stocking, I also added it on the stocking top which was a separate piece,

I machine sewed the pieces too and added a Noor crystal snowflake border die ( Tracy has a first challenge on her Noor Design blog too) on the top then added a row of pearls on the top of that, the die cut has glamour dust on too,
The Stocking has a hanging hook to be able to hang it up if  wanted, I made two separate tags for in the top too, using some of the papers,

I took this photo at this angle to get the detail in lol,
The poinsettia die is a Magnolia Doo hickey and it is shaped and glittered on the folds,
underneath the Poinsettia is a Marrakesh chippie by Dusty Attic, I have lightly added gesso and some pearls,
The Tiddlyinks image has been coloured with my copics then layered onto a Noor Oval die, under this is a couple of strips of the Maja papers for a little added interest peeking out,
The wooden snowflakes have been painted then stained with distress ink, and a pearl added in the centre, the left one has some jingle bells and a snowman charm dangling on some twine, but typical their hiding in my picture!!!
The heel and toe are made of yet more Maja papers and I added one of the Noor snowflakes off the border die to peek out, this has been glittered too,
Too finish it off I added some flowers from Sweet Lilac,

A change from winter

Hi guys, as you know we don't really do scrapbook pages over here and i have only done a few, but the other day I came across this photo of my son taken at his happiest
FISHING!!!!!!!!!!!! lol,
I thought I'd have a change from my cards and winter/Christmas themed projects and think summer,
He was on the verge of growing up and you could see the man in him he has become and yes he still loves FISHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've kept it quite neutral seeing as it's a fishing scene but added a hint of red to zing it!!!!
I followed loosely the sketch on Dusty Attic, so love their chippies talking of which the Lavender chippies has been tweaked with silks and Micro beads to tie in with the scene,

We always have a laugh in our house, as he catches huge fish now and has won many a trophy but we still rib him about any tiddlers,
