Happy Easter

Hi guys, I'm here today for My Besties Shabby Chic Design Team with a little project I have made for Easter,
as some of you know I like to make 3D creations sometimes and so I created this one around half of a acrylic egg shape and this adorable My Besties Img 913-2

I first cut an oblong shape out of some thick mdf, for my egg to fix onto,
before gluing the egg onto the base I cut out a oval shape with a die from my stash from one of the downloaded  My Besties Spring Peach paper pack, to give her a background,
I fussy cut her out after colouring her with my distress re-inkers and fixed her onto the background with 3D foam,

I added some moss at the base of my egg from my stash for her to stand on,

On the base I added a grass die and fence behind a cute bunny die then added a bit more of the moss,

I did similar on the other side with a larger grass die and a couple of flowers,
I finished off the top of the egg with some more flowers, pearl trim and a seam binding bow,

I hope you like my little Easter Decoration,
You can also see this and all the other DT creations over at

Welcome Little One

Hi guys, today I thought I'd show you a pop up box style card I've created using some of the fabulous products at 14 Craft Bar,
I love this adorable pack of papers and images from the My Precious Girl paper pack which as you can see is what I mostly used for my card/box

I made up my box then added the papers onto which I distressed the edges, I love this look as it gives added interest with out much bulk,
I then added my fussy cut out images from the paper pack, there are lots to choose from, lol

I added the ones to the centre of my box by adding them onto pieces of acetate, this allows different heights of the images to be used,

For the front flap of my box I used the wonderful Welcome little One wording which comes in the pack, then the adorable booties, placed on an angle and raised on 3D foam,

On this side I used this adorable Elephant image which I popped again onto some foam pads to give a little depth, then I used another of the fabulous sentiments,

I added these gorgeous Butterflies and wording on the other side, keeping the text flat and the Butterflies raised, I have kept the back flat plain so a Handwritten verse can be added,
I finished my card off with some ready made paper flowers,

Check out this fabulous paper pack and some of the  ready made flowers 14 Craft Bar sells which are perfect for a New Born baby creation,

Get Well Soon

Hi guys, it's my turn today to show a little inspiration for
I thought there has been so many colds and flu knocking around and still is that I wanted to make a easel style drawer card so you can add some tissues, lip balm and flu type medicine in the drawer,

I made my drawer  section first then added some of the gorgeous new Maja Design paper from the Celebration collection, these are beautiful papers and as always with Maja Design they distress beautifully,

I Love! love!! love!!! this Get well Tilda with Bunny Slippers stamp by Magnolia, she is coloured with distress re-inkers and I added a hint of glitter to the edges of her pillow,
Using the stitched ovals die for the image and the scalloped ovals die behind both by Gummiapan I made my focal point,

On the edges I stamped the stock holm text stamp using first and second generation stamping,

I added the Get Well Soon text by Magnolia ( this comes with a Tilda stamp too, all links below) using one of the stitched banner dies by Gummiapan to cut it out, all these Gummiapan dies tie in so well together,

I got this adorable Antique luxury ornament embellishment from SHC too, which I used as a little added interest to the card part of my drawer box creation, do check these out they are fabulous and really good value too,

The hearts used on the bottle came from this adorable pill packet again by Magnolia, I die cut the die out twice, once in the Monochrome Lavender Rose and once in the Pearl, then I added the Lavender Rose hearts into the spaces of the Pearl one, I of course used some of the pearl hearts on the bottle above but you could just use them on the Lavender Rose heart pill packet too,

The flowers and lace are from my stash apart from the rose buds which are again from Swedish house crafts,

To keep in the with the theme I used a larger stitched banner die with the Under the weather text stamp ( again this comes with a Tilda stamp) which I stamped using my Tim Holtz stamping platform and a memento rich Cocoa stamp pad,
Again using the same types of flowers,

Did you notice the fabulous handle I used on the drawer section, these are brill as they have a brad style fastener behind, so I simply made a hole in my paper, and then undid the prongs on the back before gluing my paper in place, ta da!!!

A small bouquet in lemon

Hi guys, I'm here today to show you some Roses and a couple of open style flowers I made using some of the fabulous Foamiran in colour 002 and the Multi flower die available at
14 Craftbar,

I made a medium sized rose plus some buds in different stages of opening, as well as some leaves too,

Above you can see the larger rose which I made out of a foil bud then used the 3rd and 4th sized petals from the Multi flower die and the 002 Foamiran (Ecru) this is a off white kind of colour, so to make my lemon coloured Roses I used some pastel extra soft number 3 then on the top edges went over with a Gallery oil pastel in  505 chrome, ( to do this I simply added some of the pastel to a piece of foam then used flicking motions to add colour to the petals before gluing)
The open styled flower is made using the Multi flower die using the 2nd sized petal die and the  same 002 Foamiran but this time I only used the soft pastel extra soft for a more subtle look, to this I also added some green stamens in the centre,

I then made some Rose buds using the 3rd sized Multi flower die, just making the foil bud smaller and the petals tighter together when gluing to get the different sizes, the one shown above I kept the colouring soft like the open flower and was coloured the same way,

For some of the other buds I added both pastels as above to give more of a stronger hint of colour, I then made the calyx's with some 020 Olive green Foamiran which I hand cut, then some leaves as shown too,
I will be using these on a hand made card soon but they would fab on a headband or similar too,

I love making all sorts of flowers out of Foamiran, it is very relaxing and you can use hand cut petals or dies which as you can see you can usually make different styled flowers with too,Do check out all the gorgeous products Agnes has in store, then have a go yourself at making some of the many styles of flowers you can make,

Easter's on it's way

Hi guys, I'm here today for Swedish house Crafts DT to show you a box book card which I have made for my Grandaughter  to give her at Easter time with some eggs inside, but shush don't tell her!!! lol

I used the fabulous papers by Maja Design from the Vintage Spring Collection, these papers are still one of my favourites and tend to go back to them again and again, some individual papers are on sale at the moment at Swedish house Crafts, so check them out!!
I used one of the papers as a layer using the fantastic pierced scalloped ovals dies by Gummiapan, if you've never heard of Gummiapan dies pop over to SHC to see the fabulous range Suha has in store, they are very reasonably priced and they cut a dream!!!
anyway back to my card, I then used one of the same smaller dies for the focal point, I used the adorable cute mini world  Magnolia stamps / wagon with egg and Chickens which I masked together before colouring them with my copics, I added the stockholm stamp around the edges for a little added interest too,

Around this frame effect I used the adorable Daffodil die again by Magnolia, I then made myself some centers for these out of some coloured cardstock, but you could leave them without or use bought stamens too, peeking behind the flowers and feathers is a Gummiapan Hen net stamp too,

On the base I added another couple of  Doohickey dies by Magnolia from farm to Maket - Sprouts and Market Fence,

On the edge of my book  style card I used one of the awesome  new metal embellishments Suha has in store,

For the inside of my card, I again used the scalloped ovals dies using a couple of the same stamps but using second generation stamping I can write my getting over the top and yet it still gives a little interest,

Around the outside of this this time I used the Doohickey chicken wire die, which is available to pre-order from SHC now too,

This is the side my Granddaughter will love as it's were her egg will sit in the box I created using folded card, I then just added a die cut from my stash which was from an older Magnolia club magazine,
